Aliso Viejo Kicks Off Public Meetings on Town Center's Future

As public meetings get underway on the future of the Aliso Viejo Town Center in the City of Aliso Viejo, Best Best & Krieger LLP Partner Seth Merewitz is working as special counsel to the City. While the City does not own property at the Center, it is taking the lead to facilitate a future vision for the Center and development of design guidelines and a specific plan. ‎This is designed to create a development opportunity for substantial future investment and repositioning of the Center. BB&K is involved because of the complex nature of the project, which involves 21 property owners responsible for 36 parcels of land at the Center, the Orange County Register reported.
“This is probably, in terms of land ownership, one of the most complicated sites we’ve ever looked at,” Seth told the newspaper.
