Napa Valley Register Reports Partner Kara Ueda Named City Attorney
Best Best & Krieger LLP Partner Kara Ueda was named city attorney to the City of St. Helena. As the Napa Valley Register notes in its Oct. 23 edition, the City Council voted to approve the firm’s hiring in an effort to address budget concerns.
"We’ve done a lot recently to look at how we do our legal fees, and have been able to bring costs down,” the newspaper quoted Mayor Geoff Ellsworth saying.
